Due Dates & Fees

Registration Deposit

The $500 enrollment put in is the first settlement towards your expenditures and is due with your completed American Offshore Plan (for regular programs). This settlement is refundable in conformity with the Distributions and Discounts information listed below.

Payment Deadlines

Upon your booking, YFU will send you per month consideration statements. Tuition must be compensated in complete by the settlement contract of May 1 for summer time time departures or July 1 for winter weather departures. Although your report will show the complete charge for your program, you may make premiums on your balance as long as complete settlement is obtained by these due dates.

Additional Costs

Though most expenditures are involved in your expenditures, you will need to budget independently for ticket charges, charge charges (which may include travel if you are required to appear in person at a consulate), insurance, personal money, baggage charges, any appropriate airport taxation, optionally available journeys or expenditures during journeys, calls, property damage, and some school expenditures such as books or clothing which are not involved in your expenditures.

Withdrawals and Refunds

If you find you cannot take part, you must advise your Popularity Professional in writing. The amount of your return will be based on the time frame YFU gets published notice of your drawback.

If YFU USA gets published notice of termination prior to May 1 (for all summer time time travel programs) or July 1 (for winter weather travel programs), all volumes compensated toward the expenditures, such as the $500 enrollment put in, will be credited (but not such as the non-refundable application fee).

If published notice of termination is obtained in May (for all summer time time travel programs) or July (for winter weather travel programs), all volumes compensated toward the expenditures EXCEPT the enrollment put in of $500 will be credited.

If published notice of termination is obtained after May 1 (for all summer time time travel programs) or Nov 1 (for winter weather travel programs), all volumes compensated toward the expenditures EXCEPT $2,000 will be credited.

Students who cannot get involved in the planned season, but wish to re-apply for the pursuing season program will be able to roll their $75 application fee over to the next program season.

All termination policies are in effect regardless of application time frame, acceptance position of your YFU application, or method of settlement.  After travel to the coordinator nation, individuals are not eligible for any return.

The admissions process is continuous and YFU stocks the right to reassess the position of accepted learners. Also note that due to foreign countries’ various opinions on drugs, YFU partners may have a more problem obtaining a coordinator household in their nation for learners taking anti-depressant, anxiety, or add drugs. If a coordinator household cannot be found, then learners may be subject to termination and given a return of all repayments except the $75 non-refundable application fee.
